Their portfolio spans various school districts within the Southern California and Central regions, ensuring that Superintendents are assigned projects close to their residence.

Job Summary: As a Construction Superintendent, you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the quality and timely completion of projects. This role involves on-site field administration, supervision, and technical management of all construction operations. You will oversee assistants, foremen, subcontractors, and other construction-related personnel, ensuring all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Project Manager to ensure quality and timely project completion.
  • Provide on-site field administration, supervision, and technical management.
  • Manage the scope of work and assist in developing detailed CPM schedules.
  • Verify and approve employee timecards.
  • Schedule and direct all required inspections.
  • Coordinate and document punch-list completion.
  • Maintain general condition costs and review material budgets.
  • Develop a project site logistics plan.
  • Schedule trade and material deliveries.
  • Assist with the bid process and produce necessary reports (RFI logs, daily reports, safety reports).
  • Perform safety management responsibilities and provide leadership in safety programs.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction delivery systems, building trades, materials, and building systems.
  • Prior experience as a journeyman or foreman carpenter.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Experience directing and coordinating subcontractors and field personnel.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and handle physical demands of the job.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving record consistent with company and insurance standards.
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
  • OSHA 10-hour safety training.
  • Proficiency in Procore, P6, or similar project management software, and basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
