POSITION DESCRIPTIONSubcontractor shall provide strategic planning support services to the NNSA Capital Projects mission being performed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), LLC. The primary focus of these support efforts shall be to provide assistance and support to the SRNS NNSA Capital Projects initiative through the development, editing, revision, and submittal of Critical Decision 2/3 packages. Also provide support for strategic planning activities relative to the SPD, TFF, and SRPPF Projects.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
BS degree or higher.

​​MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10 years of experience developing schedules for engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and /or project management.
  • Minimum of 5 years in technical writing experience
  • Oversee work utilizing critical decision compliance- DOE Order 413.3
  • Direct execution of all workflows to produce, estimate, schedule, and support narratives
  • Assist in recruiting applicable SME, technical writers, etc.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous DOE experience in developing proposals.
  • Experience working w/ capital line-item project obtaining Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

Duration of the Contract: (1) Year with the option to extend for additional (2) one year option periods.
-Option Periods are not guaranteed and are executed at the discretion of the hiring manager.
-Yearly options will automatically include a 3.5% escalation.

Estimates Hours Per Year: 2000 ST / 200 OT

Anticipated Work Schedule: 4/10's (Mon-Thur)

Hybrid (75% onsite, 25% remote): Local candidates or willing to relocate at the candidate's expense.
Travel Required: 10%. Travel not reimbursed by SRNS.
