Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Labeling Specialist. Job Title: Labeling SpecialistJob Location: Plymouth, MN, U.S.A.Job Type: Contract (possible extension/conversion)Pay: Starts at $29.00 an hourShift Structure: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; 100% ONSITE, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekAbout the Labeling Specialist Role:
  • Creating product labels for the department’s packaging and products
  • Processing updates to product packaging labels - inner (pouch) and outer (shelf carton) labels
  • Project management of assigned tasks supporting multi-functional teams.
  • Will utilize Software Applications - enLabel design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Windchill (PLM documentation system), SAP (material management system).
About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1-2 years experience
  • Medical Device experience highly preferred
  • Regulatory background would be helpful
  • Experience with a Documentation system and/or Labeling Software / Design Software
  • Anyone with design experience
  • Detail-oriented, organization skills, time management and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Being able to handle multiple projects
