About the Role

Job Type: Full-Time

What You Will Do:

The Finance & Pricing Analyst role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen. By analyzing market dynamics, developing pricing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Pricing Analyst contributes to the company's financial success and competitive positioning in the market.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of product movement, customer purchases, and vendor cost increases
  • Develop pricing policies
  • Work with Pricing Manager and regional mangers to set pricing across regions, customer types, size customers
  • Maintain price and cost files
  • Collect and maintain market pricing intelligence
  • Prepare competitive price comparisons and analysis
  • Analyze pricing trends and identify areas of pricing improvement
  • Understand the connection between the companies financial performance and pricing
  • Establish a strong connection between purchasing and pricing – ensure pricing is updated when vendor costs change
  • Manage special price agreements
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products and services we provide to our customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in pricing administration
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Profit21 is preferred
