We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in the life sciences industry to join our team on a long-term remote contract basis. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of designated projects, ensuring delivery within schedule and budget while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction. Your expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, and technical understanding of regulated systems will be crucial for the seamless execution of high-profile projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Establish and maintain program governance structures and processes, facilitating regular meetings, reporting mechanisms, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Collaborate with client leadership to ensure alignment with project objectives and expectations.
  • Conduct client-facing meetings and technical team meetings, providing leadership and support to address project challenges and measure progress.
  • Coordinate with technical leads to ensure effective communication and resolution of project issues.
  • Lead project planning activities, providing direction and guidance to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting client specifications.
  • Monitor project performance, tracking key metrics and milestones to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management, client project management, and external partners.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and issues at regular intervals, presenting project updates to stakeholders as required.
  • Assign and oversee daily tasks of technical personnel, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, collaborating with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and requirements, adhering to quality management processes.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, assessing their impact on the program and implementing appropriate change control processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Project Manager in the life sciences industry.
  • Experience with business solution deployments leveraging enterprise content services platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Documentum/Generis/Veeva/IT and/or migration projects.
  • Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach to projects.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship requirements.
  • Flexible to occasional international and domestic travel and flexible work hours as needed.
