Schedule: PRN

Pay: $18.90

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Effective communication skills to act as a companion and provide emotional support to patients and caregivers.
  • Possesses interpersonal skills that promote interdisciplinary collaboration and communication.
  • Identifies need for intervention by other members of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and reports to the Case Manager RN.
  • Provides input into interdisciplinary evaluation of the effectiveness of care.
  • Seeks opportunities for professional growth, including demonstrating the ability to accept direction from professional staff of all disciplines and to receive constructive performance feedback.
  • Participates in the orientation of new members of the IDT, including volunteers.

Qualifications

Required: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification from the state of Kansas. HHA certifications obtained on or after July 1, 2017 must be Class A HHA certifications. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. Due to insurance company requirements, must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred: One or more years of experience as a Home Health Aide.
