Job DescriptionJob Description

Resource's typical working day:

2 sites/campus-5 miles distance

10 building per campus

Mobile aspect of position-transportation will be needed to get to campus, other driving will be coordinated with company vehicle once on site/between sites Individual will receive work order per task and be responsible for responding, correcting, and closing out in work system.

In additional they will be responsible for:

Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring building system operations and performance.

Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, heating and cooling.

HVAC troubleshooting

Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.

Completes maintenance and repair records as required.

Reviews assigned work orders.

Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.

Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.

Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.

Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, drains, shop, and HVAC.

Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.

Performs carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.

Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

Years of Experience needed: Minimum of 1-2 years' experience building maintenance

Level of Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Systems/Software proficiencies: Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook

Certifications/Licenses: n/a

Top Must have Skills:

Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of less than 50 lbs. or more.

Requires basic analytical skills. Uses personal computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training.

Repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC-filters, greasing, belt checking Fixing doors, patching walls, painting, sheet metal work Light pluming Changing light bulbs, fixtures Compressor checks-function General cleaning of work area Work order management Light admin work and training Basic computer skills Ability to follow safety guidelines outlined from client
