Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician with expertise in microscopic soldering to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components with the highest level of precision and accuracy, ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform microscopic soldering of electronic components, including surface mount devices (SMDs), through-hole components, and fine-pitch components.
  • Interpret and follow detailed assembly instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Inspect and test assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues, including solder bridges, cold joints, and component misalignment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality and reliability.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper handling and storage of sensitive electronic components and tools.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in microscopic soldering and electronic assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the ability to work with precision and accuracy under magnification.
  • Familiarity with soldering equipment and tools, including soldering irons, solder wire, flux, and cleaning agents.
  • Knowledge of soldering techniques and best practices, including reflow soldering, hand soldering, and desoldering.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and assembly techniques.

This is a temporary position that is anticipated to last approximately 3 months.
