Summary 
The HVAC Field Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of HVAC technicians and related workers in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee the installation and various aspects of new HVAC systems, ensuring all installations are executed correctly.
  • Establish and adhere to safety procedures, providing leadership and guidance to the team to promote efficiency and accountability.
  • Supervise and complete the installation and startup of all HVAC systems, guaranteeing proper installation.
  • Champion the value of teamwork and accountability within the team.
  • Adhere to and enforce company processes, procedures, and safety policies.
  • Follow instructions from management and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Oversee job site preparation and cleanup.
  • Address and follow up on client concerns promptly and effectively.

Required Education and Experience 
  • 10 years of commercial HVAC expertise.
  • Proficient in ductwork and piping layout and installation.
  • Skilled in refrigeration piping, wiring, and startup.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to everyday challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a minimum OSHA10 certification; OSHA30 preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility 
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This role routinely demands heavy lifting and constant physical activities in a non-climate-controlled environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Physical Demands
  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.
  • Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
  • Requires driving and operating equipment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; Saturday 7:00 am – 2:00 pm (During the first four weeks of employment this schedule might differ due to training).
