We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Parts Counterperson to join our team at McGrath Honda of St. Charles during our overnight shift.

Position: Overnight Honda Automotive Dealership Parts Counterperson Shift: 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers arriving for parts needs during the overnight shift.
• Utilize your expertise to accurately identify and provide the correct parts for customer requests.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely parts supply for ongoing repair and maintenance tasks.
• Offer valuable advice and recommendations on parts selection, compatibility, and availability.
• Utilize our inventory management system to place orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery.
• Process parts transactions, including pricing, invoicing, and providing receipts to customers.
• Ensure parts inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks and restocking as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Parts Counterperson in an automotive dealership is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicles, parts, and their applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to assist customers and technicians efficiently.
• Proficiency in using computerized parts catalog systems and inventory management software.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to accurately process transactions and maintain organized records.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities during the overnight shift.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate the overnight hours.
