Applications for Summer 2024 are due by May 3, 2024 and Fall 2024 applications are due by June 30th. This information is subject to change.
We strongly encourage 2 letters of recommendation from professional/academic references. These can be uploaded along with resumes during the application process.

Objectives:
Tennessee Performing Arts Center seeks to engage local diverse and dynamic students with an opportunity to experience, learn, and immerse themselves in performing arts center management through an internship experience.
Tennessee Performing Arts Center is seeking dynamic and diverse Individuals who are looking for a unique experience, who are interested and eager to learn what it means to have in a career at a performing arts center. All majors are encouraged to apply. However, applicants should have knowledge and experience applicable to the area in which they are seeking an internship.
Internships can range from 8-16 weeks with interns working 10 to 20 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will be determined by the department for which the candidate is interning.
Required:
Individuals who are interested and eager to learn what it means to have a career at a performing arts center.
Individuals that are a part of underrepresented identities within performing arts administration and staffing.
All majors are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should have applicable knowledge and experience in the area they are seeking an internship.
Candidates should be rising juniors, rising seniors, or graduate students.
Candidates should be in good standing (academic and conduct) with their institution.
