Dumaplast USA is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join a great team in Canton, GA. Dumaplast specializes in making high quality kitchen, bathroom, and office surfaces.


Starting pay is $23/hour.


Extrusion Tech is responsible for operating machinery to produce high-quality extruded products. Key duties include adjusting equipment settings, monitoring material thickness and quality, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Provide support and training for ALL Team members across the facility for Dumaplast.


Your Day to Day:

  • Obtain lift truck certification.
  • Operate equipment including extruder, calendar roller, and vacuum pump.
  • Adjust settings for startup and production runs.
  • Monitor and adjust material thickness and quality specifications.
  • Safely thread material through machinery.
  • Apply wear layer and print to slab material accurately.
  • Troubleshoot and address visual defects.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
  • Monitor ingredient levels and equipment operation.
  • Perform quality checks and record data.
  • Assist with stacking finished products and managing scrap.
Requirements:

What we would love about you:

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Minimum 12 months of manufacturing operator experience preferred.

· Experience with extruding LVT/LVP or SPC products required.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Basic math skills for calculations.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

· Flexibility to work evening, night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

· Comfortable working in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb.
