Summary

Family owned and operated residential care home located in Chelsea, VT is seeking full time, part time, and per diem staff to join our team of dedicated caregivers. Job includes and is not limited to personal care duties, cooking, cleaning and medication administration (we train).

We are particularly looking for 2-10 PM shift leader and three 6-2 day shift shift leaders.

All staff work rotations on weekends and holidays as we give care to elders 24/7 in our licensed Residential Care facility.

Duties

Our staff duties are varied but all staff we teach how to care for the residents, personal, social and emotionally as well as to run the home as one would care for their their own. All residents needs of personal care, laundry, cleaning of rooms and home spaces, cooking and more are met by staff. We train some staff also to administer medications. We are looking for a staff to come to work with us long term if possible and give the folks here great care.

Requirements

reading proficiency
writing proficiency
non felony or abuse related background clearance done here
can be LNA/CNA or we can train anyone willing to learn - we have also had LPNs in this position.
We require healthy work habits. kind and appropriate composed demeanor to work with our lovely population.as well as diligent and dedicated staff
reliable transportation and ability to commute to Chelsea Vermont
