Working under the direct supervision of the VP of Business Development, the Human Resources Intern will learn company HR operations and provide support through assisting with daily HR responsibilities and projects including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, off-boarding, payroll, benefits, personnel relations, office management, etc.   


Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

Hours Per Week: 10-20 

Term: We anticipate this internship to begin April 2024 and end around Fall 2024. Opportunities for continued internship hours into fall  2024 would be considered for the right candidate.  

 

Primary Job Duties:


  • Assists with job description creation, modification, and upkeep
  • Assist with performance review process for all employees
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding of employees including process creation and improvement 
  • Assist with employee benefits administration including open enrollment, COBRA notices, invoice audits, etc.
  • Assists with payroll updates as requested including expense reports, deductions, pay rates, timecards, post-payroll tasks, etc.
  • Assists with audits of processes and files including I-9s, insurance bills, and others as requested.
  • Assists with office administration such as bills, purchasing, etc.
  • Assists with other HR functions as requested.

  • Ability to work with technology and learn new systems and processes
  • Experience with G-suite and MS Office Suite
