Job Description:

The role of a Manufacturing Engineer is to ensure manufacturing processes and equipment are robust to support the demands of ILT’s high volumes and tight product tolerances. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving efficiency through equipment up-time, while maintaining product quality. Use manufacturing metrics to drive quality into future product design and manufacturing process improvements. The successful candidate needs to be a team player, working with manufacturing colleagues, as well as cross-functional partners.


Responsibilities include:

• Represent Manufacturing on cross-functional teams for the Product Lifecycle activities and ensure manufacturing deliverable are documented and properly approved.

• Maintain automated equipment and manual fixtures have a preventative maintenance program to maximize uptime, quality and operator safety.


Qualifications:

• Four-year college degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum of 2 years of experience

• Experience with CAD software

• Experience with ISO 9001:2015, or similar, required

• Familiarity with the Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is important

• Analytical skills and practical application of Continuous Improvement tools and mindset

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with ability to work independently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• A strong customer focus is essential.
