Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Include, but are not limited to:
  • Troubleshoot and repair property equipment.
  • Maintain logs on equipment.
  • Proficiency in all phases of operation of fire panels.
  • Recommend needed parts for purchase, order parts and services if needed.
  • Responds to radio, telephone, and verbal requests for maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
  • Experience with plumbing, carpentry, masonry, electrical, painting, and repair or maintenance of central heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Trained in hands-on equipment maintenance.
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
  • Ability to operate forklift
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles
  • Able to operate computer to access work orders, update work orders, and respond to relevant e-mails as needed
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks on a minute-by-minute basis and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • May be required to qualify for and maintain gaming license
  • May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid driver’s license.
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and often lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

Education / Training / Experience

  • High school degree or equivalent is preferred; one to four years’ experience preferred.
  • Must be able to safely operate mechanical tools and inspection gauges.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, samples, specifications and be able to follow verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to safely work at varying heights throughout the facility utilizing ladders and scaffolds.
  • Must be able to demonstrate safe lifting capability for 50 pounds on a regular basis and be able to operate lifting mechanisms for heavier loads.
