As a BMW Master Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of BMWs, ensuring they perform at their best. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our service department and the satisfaction of our valued customers.

Compensation:

$25 - $45 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business
  • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems
  • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process
  • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
  • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships

  • Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system
  • Identify potential issues vehicles may have when they come in for service
  • Perform high-quality repairs for various systems including engine, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace
  • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and service advisors
Qualifications:
  • GED or high school diploma is mandatory
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
  • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
  • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
