Job DescriptionJob Description

SUMMARY: Designs, develops, tests, and implements digital printed circuit boards and hardware platforms.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designs and develops hardware design solutions consistent with specifications and requirements.
  • Reviews system requirements and extracts hardware functionality.
  • Performs component selection.
  • Generates and executes design verification test plans; coordinates with quality assurance team to identify problems and create solutions.
  • Investigates and thoroughly understands new technologies.
  • Participates in design and product reviews.
  • Modifies existing designs to meet new market needs as required.
  • Coordinates manufacturing and procurement efforts.
  • Assists in transition from engineering to manufacturing.
  • Supports user training and education.
  • Prepares technical and progress reports on assigned projects.
  • Collaborates with project directors, technical writers, product managers, quality assurance engineers and other technical team members to develop new products.
  • Travel required as part of on-site engineering activities
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent.
  • Four to six years related experience or equivalent.
  • Cybersecurity experience required
  • CISSP certification preferred

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
