Position Description:
**Set your own schedule – Work frequently or occasionally
(Priority On-Call Backup Caregiver position for infants – preschool)
(Require Mon – Fri availability 8am-6pm availability)
(Non-Priority position does not require 5-days per week availability but can work any day Mon-Sun)
Peak Work TIMES: Mondays –Fridays
8am – 6pm
**This is an On-Call position (Only) – Most Sitters work 5 days per week

Starting Salary: $18.00 per hour
$22.50 per hour for Private clients

Our nannies/babysitters choose the days they can work Mon – Fri 8am-6pm & evenings & weekends 4 – 8-hour shifts and are in a “Standby” status on their days of availability. Our Priority Nanny provides a consistent availability of 5 weekdays per week except for major holidays. You won’t have to give us availability on holidays but can work on those days if you choose at the prevailing holiday pay rate.
Care takes place in the homes of various families who have a backup childcare benefit from their employer. We provide our nanny/babysitters with training in professionalism & how to implement engaging activities for children of all ages.
If you love playing with, caring for & helping to guide & shape children’s development, and can take last minute assignments, then this is the job for you You will be responsible for caring for & creating an exciting day for children.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, both educational and recreational.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Plan and lead outdoor activities, weather permitting
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
- Must be able to lift small children (up to 50 pounds) and be physically active.
- Must be able to participate in outdoor activities for extended periods of time, weather permitting.
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
***CPR & 1st Aid Training available if needed***

Job Qualifications and Requirements
● Must have at least 1-2 years of childcare experience & be at least 18 years old
● Infant thru school age experience required
● A minimum of 1-2 amazing references or letters of recommendations
● Must be super responsible and reliable
● Must be willing to travel at least 45 minutes – 1 hour one way
● Able to care for up to 3 children at one time & be Pet Friendly (both cats & dogs)
● Must be willing to care for non-contagious sick children (without fevers)
● Proficient in the English language
● Must drive own insured vehicle/and have valid Driver’s License
● CPR and First Aid Certified or Willing to Become Certified
● Attends Mandatory Trainings and Workshops
**This is an On-Call position (Only) although there is the potential to work 40 hours per week
