PURPOSE:

 

To complete all tasks following procedures for restocking of program inventory for Brand Addition’s customers.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  1. Restock program aisles with needed inventory from bulk locations
  2. Analyze the warehouse management system data to re-profile product locations and optimize order fill rate
  3. Set/maintain product bin low points, full levels, restocking quantities and active bin locations
  4. Ability to complete stock movements in system
  5. Assist in researching +/- inventory
  6. Assist in the setup of new customers’ inventory when received
  7. Handle write offs/dumps of current inventory
  8. Keep all bin boxes neat/clean/readable
  9. Reprint case and locations labels when needed
  10. Pull items from bulk areas on forklift or Wave machine
  11. Attend and participate in weekly department meetings
  12. Assist with cycle counting inventory
  13. Assist with aisle setup
  14. Any other tasks that are deemed necessary to reach the goals of the department.

 


PRIMARY INTERACTIONS: 

 

Daily interaction with Distribution Team, Customer Service, Fulfillment Team, Warehouse Manager and VP of Operations.  Periodic interaction with Accounting and Upper Management. 

 

Time Allocation:

Restocking – 80%

Order Picking – 10%

Miscellaneous Projects – 10%

 

 COMPETENCIES:  

 

  • Moderate math skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Quality-conscious
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong PC knowledge
  • Excellent working knowledge of the following programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Certified forklift driver (preferred, willing to certify) 
  • Excellent understanding of company goals, department goals, and processes and procedures

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

 

High School Diploma or GED

Inventory management experience a must

Distribution industry experience preferred

Experience with JDA – Direct Commerce a plus

Restocking experience highly preferred
