Position Summary

Mosaic Technologies is currently looking for an IT Manager to join our growing team. 

The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementation, maintenance, and support of all corporate/ISP technology needs. Additionally, this position leads and develops the IT Operations team by setting priorities in alignment with corporate objectives and best practices.

 

Essential Functions (including but not limited to)

  • Configure, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN and ISP transport/distribution networks that provide IP services to staff and customers.
  • Develop, deploy, and audit security and business continuity solutions in physical and virtual environments.
  • Handle all complex (tier 3) service issues, escalated, and/or unresolved calls.
  • Lead and optimize internal helpdesk operations across multiple sites.
  • Analyze metrics to benchmark team workload/performance and identify trends in call center requests.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all internal & external systems related to customer service and ops support.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in server and client hardware support, MS O365 administration and support, TCP/IP, TIA/EIA standards.
  • Strong general networking, application, routing, and cyber security knowledge.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills needed to work in a team environment that is dynamic and rapidly evolving.
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions using information at hand.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers in a professional and courteous manner.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, Computer Science, or related discipline, or 10+ years equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in management or supervisory role.
  • CISCO CCNA, CISSP, AWS Security, MS Azure Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Calix, Ciena products preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain and valid driver's license. 

 

Location & Schedule

  • This position is located at our Cameron, WI office.
  • The core schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 while providing after-hours assistance and leadership as necessary to meet customer needs.
  • Participates in an on-call rotation.
