Job Responsibilities

  • Examine and diagnose vehicles ustilizing system diagnostices and testing
  • Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
  • Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
  • Maintain safety standards at all time and quality repair work
  • Provide labor estimates to service advisor
  • Monitor repair time and update service advisor
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Provide clear communication (both written and verbal) to service advisor and management
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, honesty and consistant appropriate behavior
  • Attend company and factory training
  • A.S.E certification preferred
  • Need to be able to lift, bend, stand, and move without impairment and operate shop tools
  • Keep current with factory technical bulletins
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma); 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Operator Driver's License

Compensation
