Position Summary:
Gold's Gym is looking for an outgoing certified instructor to join our team. Provide excellent and safe instruction, motivation, and support to members and participants of our mid-morning Senior Strength group class that meets a couple times per week.

Essential Functions:
  • Instructs and leads the members fitness classes following Senior standards and guidelines in a manner that is both demonstrative and professional.
  • Watches and corrects participants when exercising in an unsafe manner.
  • Develops and nurtures positive relationships with members and provides motivational support and guidance.
  • Punctual and prepared for each class.
  • Finds subs for sickness or vacations. Is willing to help sub for others.

Qualifications:
  • CPR/AED certification must be current or obtained
  • Certifications which are helpful include Personal Training and Group Exercise Instructor.
  • National fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NCCA accredited equivalent)
  • Minimum of six months class participation experience or fitness class assistant and a high level of interest in the fitness field.
