TriStarr’s client, a leading Lancaster manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to join their team.

Manufacturing Accountant Responsibilities:
 
  • You will conduct month-end closing & provide insightful analysis to plant/corporate leadership.
  • You will assist in annual budgeting processes (incl. detailed reporting & year-over-year analysis.)
  • You will contribute to quarterly forecasts based on production metrics/performance indicators.
  • You will manage inventory/reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy & procedure adherence.
  • You will prepare economic cost studies for projects related to products, processes, and facilities.
  • You will support internal control audits to mitigate financial risks.
  • You will identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities within manufacturing operations.
  • You will assist in external financial and operational audits.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and transition initiatives.
  • You will perform other duties as required.

Manufacturing Accountant Experience/Skills Required:
 
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Your 1+ years of Accounting experience in a Manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • You have a strong ability to analyze operational metrics and link them to financial performance.
  • You have excellent communication skills with a focus on Customer Service and attention to detail.
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems, preferably M3.
  • You have demonstrated ability to implement & support new ideas w/ operational leadership skills.


Please note: This role requires 25% travel. The candidate must have a clean background check and drug screen.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Permanent
START DATE: asap, pending interviews
SALARY RANGE: $65k-$85k.
HOURS: Full-time
DRESS CODE: Business casual
