This is a Full-Time role for the summer months. With a schedule of 8am-4:30p. The pay is $16.50 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at our center located: 1264 S Rio Grande Ave, Orlando FL 32805 

Our Summer Camp Counselors guide and help develop our youth in multiple facets of life including academics, communication, sociability, and independence. You'll have the opportunity to work as a member of a team and be a role model for young children by serving as a mentor and coach, facilitating a wide range of STEM/STEAM activities, encouraging self-confidence and more.

What You’ll Do:• Promote positive self-image by listening, responding, and encouraging independence
• Guide children in self-regulation using Techniques from Conscious Discipline
• Work with the young children in activities including both indoor and outdoor games
• Maintain positive communication with parents
• Share values through role modeling and small group discussions
What We Need from You:• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Willingness to obtain FL DCF 45 certification; Start 2 courses upon hire required
• Pass Level II background check
