We are currently seeking candidates for our Midland, NC location:


Precision Grinder: manual machines – 1st Shift
Flexible Schedules- Benefits start Day One

SUMMARY:

Responsible set-up and operation of: Cylindrical grinder, Centerless Grinder, and Honing machines.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Sets up and operate machines to grind/hone parts to blueprint specifications.
  • Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures as required.
  • Reports any problems or discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
  • Maintains tools, gages and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
  • Observes overall operation and performs regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
  • Working in tight tolerance environment (+/- .0002) a plus


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and independently. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Ability to read blueprints.

· Can follow job orders and written or verbal instructions for product specifications such as finishes, dimensions, and tolerances

· Understands precision grinding techniques


LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be fluent in English with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing drawings and technical specifications.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent education and experience required.

Demonstrated skill working in a team environment with a positive attitude.
