POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for providing administrative support and assistance in the efficient management of work orders, notifications, and maintenance activities within the organization’s work management structure. The Maintenance Planning Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of work orders and timely completion of daily maintenance activities.

Senior Maintenance Planner, Assets & Reliability

COLLABORATING WITH

Internal:

  • Maintenance Planners, Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Superintendents, and Reliability personnel.

External:

  • Mine, HSEC, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Contractor Services (as required)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exemplify the Capstone Copper Values in all efforts and interactions while working in compliance with all MSHA safety guidelines and Pinto Valley Mine policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that you are certified to execute the tasks / jobs assigned.
  • Receive, review, and process incoming work orders from different departments or stakeholders.
  • Verify work order details, such as inspection results, quality, and resourcing.
  • Ensure accurate data entry of work order information into the organization's work management system.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely completion of work orders and adherence to deadlines.
  • Generate regular reports on work order progress, backlog, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Provide general administrative support to the maintenance or operations department as needed.
  • Assist in preparing documents, filing, and other clerical duties.
  • Process Service Entry Sheets and work closely with Procurement and Accounts Payable on invoicing issues
  • Develop and distribute weekly work packets to the maintenance execution teams
  • Enter action items and update status in company and department databases
  • Schedule department employees for training sessions and requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED

YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

(Required, Preferred)

Required:

  • Minimum of one (1) year in an administrative role

Preferred:

  • Three (3) years in Mining administrative or Maintenance administrative role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSA):

  • Microsoft office suite applications
  • CMMS (SAP) systems
  • Safety Management System data entry (preferred)
  • Understanding of work management flow
  • Maintenance planning basic knowledge (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team professionals
  • Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude and service oriented
  • Database updating and reporting
  • Work order quality audit
