Summary

We are searching for an experienced and qualified Rigging / Crane Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all rigging and crane operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce rigging and lifting plans.
  • Conduct pre-lift inspections of rigging equipment and cranes to ensure safe operation.
  • Select and assign qualified personnel for rigging and crane operations.
  • Train and mentor rigging crew members on safe lifting practices.
  • Supervise the safe setup, operation, and disassembly of cranes and rigging equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards during lifting operations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all rigging and crane operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other project personnel to ensure lifting plans meet project requirements.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Rigging Supervisor roles.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a rigger.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and enforce safe rigging practices.
  • Strong understanding of crane operation and lifting capacities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and lifting plans.
  • Valid CDL (A or B) preferred.
  • Certifications in Rigging and Crane Operations a plus.
