As a new Commercial Sewing at Tamarack Packaging, you can anticipate a stimulating role that involves translating design specifications into sewing programs. Your day-to-day tasks will include setting up and operating sewing machines, testing and adjusting sewing patterns, and ensuring the quality of finished products meets our standards. You will collaborate with our team to troubleshoot any issues that arise and assist in optimizing sewing processes for efficiency and quality. We operate with various sewing machines like Juki, Brothers, and Singer machines. We are investing in our future by installing CNC-programable sewing machines to ensure our competitiveness with the sewing market.

This position requires a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., which provides you with a consistent routine to manage your work-life balance effectively. There is also optional OT.

To excel as a Commercial Sewing at Tamarack Packaging, you should possess a strong understanding of sewing techniques and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Attention to detail and precision are crucial in operating sewing machines to ensure the final products meet quality standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently while also being a team player are essential for success in this role.
