Instrumentation and Electrical Design Internship

Job Description

As an I&E intern at Burrow Global, you will operate under detailed instructions and review, providing essential technical knowledge and performing tasks to support our services. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the development and execution of I&E designs under the guidance of experienced professionals. This internship is based in our dynamic environment, offering exposure to real-world projects and opportunities for skill development.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

  • Assist in the development of piping I&E designs for oil and gas projects.
  • Work closely with senior I&E designers to create I&E drawings and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD to create and modify I&E drawings.
  • Support the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and technical reports.
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of design tasks.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with project team members and supervisors.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a technical field from a university or technical school.
  • We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. However, we welcome applications from U.S. Citizens, individuals with Employment Authorization Documents (EAD), and Permanent Residents.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
  • Technical knowledge is necessary to complete tasks.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of relevant statutes and guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and time-management skills.

Additional Information:

  • This internship is based in our office in Beaumont, TX or Deer Park, Texas.
  • No relocation assistance or per diem is available for this position.
