The Die Designer is responsible for designing and developing dies for use in the manufacturing of metal parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining, 3D modeling, and tool making.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop dies for use in the manufacturing of metal parts
  • Work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure that dies meet specifications
  • Use CNC machines and 3D printers to prototype and test dies
  • Document die designs and specifications
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest die design technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in die design
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining, 3D modeling, and tool making
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
