Warehouse Receiver Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments of goods, verifying the accuracy of contents against shipping documents such as purchase orders, invoices, or shipping manifests.
  • Inspect received goods for damages, discrepancies, or defects. Document any issues and communicate them promptly to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Update inventory records and systems with received quantities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data. Organize received items in designated storage areas for easy access and retrieval.
  • Ensure that received goods meet quality standards and specifications. Report any quality issues or concerns to the relevant departments for further investigation or action.
  • Maintain effective communication with warehouse supervisors, purchasing staff, and other team members to coordinate receiving activities and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during receiving activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to receiving operations.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks safely and efficiently to move received goods to designated storage areas.
  • Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and free of clutter to facilitate efficient workflow and maintain a safe working environment.

Warehouse Receiver Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a receiving role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to accurately interpret shipping documents and product specifications.
  • Accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Physical stamina, especially when unloading containers.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.

Cabinet Assembler Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures including using appropriate tools with the appropriate hardware components to assembly the cabinets.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain and clean tools, machinery, and work areas regularly to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members, including supervisors, and other assemblers, to ensure production deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating tools and machinery.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Cabinet Assembler Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or a related field is a plus.
  • Additional certification or training in carpentry or cabinet making is a plus.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 lbs.
  • Safety shoes are required.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Overtime when needed
