- Troubleshooting and repair Hydraulic, Mechanical and Servo presses and industrial equipment
- Perform press inspections
- Work with blueprints, schematics, SOP’s and machine manuals
- Perform routine preventative maintenance functions per schedule
- Operate drill press, grinder, welding, and other maintenance equipment to fabricate or repair parts
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and electrical testing instruments associated with a manufacturing setting
- Ability to maintain computer-based machine repair and PM records system
- Comply with OSHA and all safety practices in repair and installation
- Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Follow the priorities for plant improvement
- Strive to gain additional knowledge and learn new equipment
- Produce tooling and fixtures in an efficient manner, not compromising safety or quality
- Project work
- Take initiative and offer suggestions for improvement in order to offer cost savings ideas
- Lead the maintenance team to maintain production through the use of strategic PMs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two-year degree in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent work experience and training
- Specialty certification for Hydraulics, pneumatic s, and electrical or equivalent work experience.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal (English); good visual skills and reasoning ability
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to lift 55 lbs
- Qualified candidate will possess good work ethic, is reliable, self-directed, and dedicated to quality. Must enjoy a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization
- Above basic math skills and reasoning ability
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to perform preventive maintenance functions
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed
