What you will do:

  • Provides direct care to the residents by bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and maintaining hygiene.
  • Maintains a safe environment for residents by ensuring that call lights are within reach of residents, responding to call lights promptly, and completing rounds to check on residents.
  • Observes the resident's well-being by taking, documenting, and reporting changes in vital signs, blood pressure, and weight, and reporting to Charge Nurse any observed change in the resident’s condition.
  • Documents resident information as required.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification, CPR

Other: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, and push and pull moderate loads.
