About the "Department"
- The San Juan Cancer Center opened its doors on April 3, 2006, providing state-of-the-art cancer care closer to home for residents of a huge seven-county area in southwestern Colorado. The facility is an unqualified success, exceeding projections for the number of patients seen to date and surpassing the expectations of those who enter its doors for treatment.

About The Career:
- The Patient Access Representative is responsible for identifying and obtaining the necessary clinical information to obtain precertification's and authorizations in the more complex departments such as same day surgery, surgery, infusions, and inpatients.
All About You:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree preferred
- CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) preferred.
- Knowledge of: Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payer requirements, guidelines and policies preferred.
