Description

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will help leadership plan, administer, and direct all activities related to Plant Operations and Maintenance, Custodial and Grounds and ensure compliance with the standards established by Golden Bloom / eRaye Realty, LLC. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to facilities management.

The Facilities Maintenance Manger will support the development & growth of hourly associates. You will also focus on meeting and exceeding operating goals, client objectives and customer needs, and delivering all integrated facilities management services. You will be responsible for solutions focused on preventive and predictive maintenance and controlling corrective maintenance events.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises, directs, and trains hourly associates in POM, Custodial and Grounds
  • Ensures compliance with all contractual obligations. Site-level contractual compliance includes all site-level KPI and SOWs, response times and customer HS&E metrics.
  • Provide the effective implantation of a safety program to create a culture of safety, including all required training, safety audits, compliance with safety regulations and protocols, and incident investigation.
  • Ensures consistent and accurate site-level communications that include monthly business reviews with site-level client leadership.
  • Provides the District Manager accurate data required for QBRs.
  • Manage suppliers and building and grounds maintenance and improvement vendors, and review proposal bids.
  • Drives operational efficiencies and labor/scheduling productivity
  • Assists in managing labor costs, supply costs and inventories
  • Drives a positive work environment and utilize effective communication skills at all levels of the organization, and establishes effective business relationships
  • Supports compliance with Company Facilities Services and other federal, state and local regulatory agency standards and programs
  • Performs work of a skilled technician as required.
  • Maintains and uses capital equipment efficiently

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or equivalent required. Vocational training or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in and working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) O&M standards and procedures is required.
  • Previous supervisor experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of facility-related equipment such as boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC/R required
  • Previous working level experience in an industrial, life sciences, or manufacturing environment, and/or an environment that requires Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated time management skills resulting in prioritizing time and resources accordingly
  • Ideal candidates will possess a high energy level that is communicated to the hourly team they will help lead
  • The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer services is a key success measure
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills are essential for success in this role
