Responsibilities:
- Yard Waste Management: Sift through yard waste to remove trash and transport to dumpster in a small front loader.
- Equipment Operation: Operate various pieces of equipment, including a standard shift truck delivering water or fuel, small front loader, and skid steer.
- Safety First: Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- General Tasks: Assist with loading and unloading materials, organizing materials for compost, running parts between locations, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Skill Growth: Showcase your strong work ethic and eagerness to grow by taking on a variety of responsibilities while also expanding your skill set.
Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse operations or similar environment preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Driving stick shift/manual transmission trucks, a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and willingness to work with organic materials.
As an important part of our hiring process, our candidates must go through a background check, in order to comply with the Department of Transportation requirements. Additionally, we do extensive drug testing including urine, breath alcohol, and invasive hair follicle testing.
