We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Spanish-Speaking Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging classroom environment where children can develop their Spanish language skills while also fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Duties
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that integrates Spanish language learning into daily activities.
- Create lesson plans that promote learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children’s progress and development.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Proven experience as a Lead Teacher or similar role in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and early education principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
