Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced construction Remodeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction trades, demonstrating expertise in tasks such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction. The Remodeler will be responsible for executing a wide range of construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution:

   - Perform a variety of construction tasks, including but not limited to carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction duties.

   - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately and efficiently.

   - Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination in project execution.

2. Safety Compliance:

   - Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to create a secure work environment.

   - Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.

3. Equipment Operation:

   - Operate a variety of construction equipment and tools safely and effectively.

   - Conduct regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

4. Quality Assurance:

   - Maintain high standards of craftsmanship to deliver top-quality construction projects.

   - Conduct inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and regulations.

5. Communication:

   - Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.

   - Provide updates on project progress, challenges, and timelines.

6. Problem Solving:

   - Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction projects promptly and efficiently.

   - Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve construction processes.

Qualifications:

1. Experience:

   - Proven experience as a construction tradesman or remodeler with a strong background in various construction trades.

   - Familiarity with residential and commercial construction projects.

2. Skills:

   - Proficient in the use of construction tools and equipment.

   - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

   - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

3. Education:

   - High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus.

4. Physical Fitness:

   - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.

   - Must be able to routinely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 80 pounds, and rarely lift, carry, and move, with assistance of a team member or equipment, materials weighing up to 400 pounds.

5. Licenses and Certifications:

   - Valid driver's license.

   - Relevant certifications in construction trades are desirable.

Important to Note about this Posting

This posting is to establish a pool of applicants for possible remodeler positions. The pool of applicants could be drawn upon to provide staffing when needed; to provide special expertise when needed; and/or to meet special project needs not otherwise provided for. This pool will only be assessed when a remodeler opportunity arises and have potential for short or long term opportunities dependent on construction schedule. This position is for independent contractors. Anyone selected to work in this position will be considered an independent contractor and will receive an IRS form 1099 at year end.
