Position: ALM Administrator

Client: Prudential

Location: Newark, NJ position can be hybrid from that location or remote as long as the candidate is on EST time

Visa: No H1Bs/CPT

Rate: $60-65-/HR C2C

We are seeking an ALM Administrator to manage and oversee all aspects of this platform. The chosen candidate will have multiple years of experience playing the role of an ALM Administrator for large firms. He/she will understand all tiers of the platform and will ultimately own all customizations and administration aspects of the product. The desired candidate will also have good understanding of the JIRA product. A number of our project teams are looking to migrate their project artifacts from ALM to JIRA. Prior experience doing such migrations is a huge plus It is likely that this candidate will be cross-trained to support other TCoE-offered testing products in the future.

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent program
  • 5+ years of experience with Information Technologies
  • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
  • Familiarity and experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience working as a product specialist or Administrator for HP Quality Center/Microfocus ALM

Skills:

  • 3+ years of working experience as an ALM Administrator for a medium to large-sized organization
  • Experience hosting and managing a shared test environment across multiple lines of business
  • Must have previous experience orchestrating migrations and version upgrades
  • Good SQL query building and reporting skills
  • Must has experience in ALM to JIRA migration of artifacts and entities.
  • Knowledge of workflow and field customizations in ALM
  • Technically savvy and able to provide hands-on solutions
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as the candidate will be interfacing with other product teams and business units
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
  • Ability to provide thought leadership in the field of QE and test management/automation tools
  • JIRA administration experience is a huge plus
  • Experience as an administrator of other Microfocus products such as FT, UFT and PC administration is a plus
