Telehealth Psychiatrist - Night Call
MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of round-the-clock telepsychiatry and in-person behavioral health that provides services to hospitals, emergency departments and a variety of other care settings. We partner with healthcare organizations to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end behavioral health solutions that combine evidence-based care pathways, advanced technology, and high-quality providers. We are searching for a BC/BE Psychiatrist licensed in MO, KS or LA to provide Consult-Liaison Psychiatry (Inpatient Medical/Surgical consultation) and/or ED coverage to our clients.
Compensation: $350 per hour on average ($175 per encounter)
Position Summary:
- Psychiatrist will see approximately 1- 3 patient encounters per evening
- 12-hour shifts between (7p-7a)
- Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
- Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring
- Utilization of the following EHRs Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, Core
- MindCare will assist in the cost to get licensed if Psychiatrist already has one compact licensure; we may request additional licenses as well
- Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions.
- Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications within limits of applicable
- Other State license preferences: KS, MO, LA, TN, TX, CA, ID, UT, AK
- MindCare utilizes productivity compensation models - multiple options are available
- Perform psychiatric hold evaluations in ED as needed

Qualifications:
- Psychiatrist is required to have an active and unrestricted license in the state of MO, LA, KS
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
- Valid and unrestricted DEA
- Required to be well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs
- PMHNP Supervision/Collaboration may also be requested
