Field Service Technician

Farmers Implement looking for mechanically inclined candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of Field Service Technician. The primary duties of a Field Service Technician included performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs on the fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems of agricultural equipment as well as lawnmowers, trailers, and grain/bin handling equipment. Servicing top brands such as Case, Gehl, Patz, and Kuhn Knight.

Field Service Technician Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize a number of specialized tools including, but not limited to welding torches, jacks, hoists, and hand tools such as wrenches.
• Diagnose mechanical problems.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Perform maintenance and necessary tunes-ups as assigned.
• Complete the CASE employee certification as directed and identify needed course instruction to maintain certification per manufacturer guidelines.

Field Service Technician Requirements:

• 1-year previous agriculture experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Good diagnostic skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools.
• Attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, first shift, with a Saturday rotation.

Pay based on experience.
