Gallagher Bassett Technical Services (GBTS) division is seeking qualified candidates to investigate insurance claims related to construction, premise liability, commercial liability and automotive business sectors.  The Claims Investigator is required to investigate claims, prepare reports electronically, and interact with supervisory, office, and client staff.

Position Summary:

  • Investigate claims as directed, write technical reports, prepare photographic displays and diagrams, and interpret related internet data.
  • Track time and expenses.
  • Interact professionally with office and Client personnel.
  • Perform and complete internal and external on-line training as required/needed for the position.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of claims investigation experience.
  • Valid Drivers’ License.
  • Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices. Computer experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in related field.
  • Current and Valid Public Notary. 
  • OSHA 30 hr. Construction Safety Certification.
  • Bi-lingual (Fluent Spanish) and/or other languages.

  • Diligent, professional detailed orientated person with quick learning capabilities.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, plan and organize activities, serve clients, effectively communicate verbally and in writing and embrace new challenges.
