We are seeking an API Inspector with 510/570 certification for a full-time position in the Houston, TX area. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. API 510/570 Inspection and ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. Non-exempt role; Reports to a Level 2 Inspector; Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have valid drivers license
• Must have TWIC card
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• API 510 and 570 Certification
• Inspectors 653 is a plus
• Relevant certifications and experience in API and NDE
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
• Turnaround Inspection Planning
• Must be considered local to the job. Per diem is not included.
• Documentation needed: certifications and resume
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place

Functional Requirements:

Assists in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code; assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up; assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment; assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards; assist in performing other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector/technician; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
