Summary

Premier Children's Center is looking for people that want to change the WORLD, one CHILD at a time.
We are an early learning and care program looking for enthusiastic early childhood educators to provide engaging environments, nurturing relationships, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for the children in our program. We believe working with young children during their critical years of development is one of the most important jobs in our community. Facilitating a lifelong love of learning will set children up for success in school and in life. Our training program can transform you from a daycare/child care provider to an early childhood educator.

Starting at $16.00 an hour and increased to $17.00 after 90 Days (hourly rate is increased with a CDA, associate degree in early childhood education or a bachelor degree in early childhood education)

Duties

Applicant's duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Building responsive, nurturing relationships with children, families, and co-workers
  • Supervising children
  • Providing a safe, healthy, engaging learning environment to support the whole child
  • Planning developmentally appropriate learning activities and experiences
  • Exceeding the Department of Health's Child Care Licensing rules and regulations
  • Meeting quality early learning standards
  • Recording children's development and building portfolios
  • Positively guiding children's behaviors
  • Effectively communicating with children, families, and co-workers
  • Documenting required duties and responsibilities


Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • A commitment to children and families
  • Desire to make changes to improve the quality of the current program
  • Continual quest for self-improvement
  • 6 months experience in a licensed early learning facility
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • A negative TB test within the last 12 months
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and to play on floor with children


Nice To Haves

CDA, associate degree in early childhood education or bachelor degree in early childhood education.
