Steve Brown Apartments is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic UW-Madison campus area Brand Ambassadors.
What You'll Do.
As a Brand Ambassador, you will promote our apartment communities, engage with potential residents, and foster positive relationships within the local community. You will act as the face and voice of SBA at various events on the UW Madison Campus, including Badger Fest on the first day of classes and the Homecoming Block Party. You will also get to develop and execute weekly high-quality, engaging social media content with our marketing team.
What It Takes.
People who do best in this role are self-starters who are well-spoken, outgoing, genuine, motivated by results, and excellent communicators. You'll need to enjoy creatively promoting our brand in person and online. At least one year of experience in marketing, sales, or customer service with high-demand customers and a little hustle (e.g., retail, restaurant, or hospitality) is required, as is a high school degree and availability to attend required in-person events.
What You Get in Exchange.
This is an hourly paid position at $15 per hour and $15 per social post.
When and Where We'll See You.
You will be responsible for submitting weekly social posts and attending in-person tabling events. Plan 4-6 hours for each event, including set up and tear down. The job will start at the end of August 2024 and will go through May 2025 with a break during the UW winter and spring breaks.
Required event dates include:
- Wednesday, September 4th from 11 a.m. -3 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 1st (afternoon)
- Friday, October 25th (evening)
- More will be scheduled throughout the year
