Our company has a client in need of a Data Governance Lead in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:

* Data Governance Lead will create, own, and drive the overall strategy and vision for implementing a data cataloging and governance platform

* Develop comprehensive project plans, engage in stakeholder conversations, and implement/execute product vision

* Ensure alignment of data governance strategies with organizational goals and objectives

* Lead critical workstreams, including planning, executing tasks, and managing timelines and risks

* Build and maintain a metadata catalog for analytic assets from data to BI layers

* Design and implement a framework for metadata enrichment and glossary content curation

* Conduct pilots to determine and optimize processes for efficiency and value

* Develop and refine procedures for identifying and addressing data governance issues

* As a Data Governance Lead, you will coordinate workgroups to deliver glossary inputs on schedule and within budget

* Oversee continuous improvement in data governance strategies and practices

* Mentor team members in data governance best practices

* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance initiatives
