Job Title: Academic & Vocational Advisor

Location: Tinley Park, Illinois

Schedule: Flexible 11:00am -5:00pm

Job Type: Part Time

Compensation: $24 Hourly

As an academic/vocational advisor, you will:

  • Help our clients with their schoolwork, such as math, English, essays, and exams.
  • Assist our clients with their career development, such as college or job applications, resumes, interviews, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure that our clients are making progress in both their personal and professional lives.

Qualifications:

  • Required
    • At least 1 year of teaching / tutoring experience or academic/career coach/academic advisor/vocational advisor experience (teaching license a plus, but not required)
    • Understanding of Social emotional learning
    • Understanding of MH care presentations / field
  • Preferred
    • Strong experience with Math and English Experience with special education, learning differences, familiarity with 504s/IEPs
    • College level experience
