Summary of role:
The Director of Commercial Contracts Administration will be responsible for leading and developing the Commercial Contracts Administration team, which is responsible for the tracking and implementation of all commercial contractual commitments, and associated processes. This includes but is not limited to oversite of the contract administration system (ModelN), systematic price management, customer roster management, rebate calculations, tracking of contract expiry/renewal dates, and preparing management reporting on key aspects of pricing and administration.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Planning, Contracts and Pricing, the Director of Commercial Contracts Administration will be a highly motivated, high impact individual with strong organizational and communication skills. Key to success in this role will be the ability to create and implement processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability of tools and resources in a growing organization.
Essential Functions:
- Leadership and development of Commercial Administration team.
- Develop best practice processes for implementation and tracking of all commercial contractual commitments.
- Oversight of revenue/contract management system (ModelN) and supporting team. This includes defining roadmap for system enhancements and optimization.
- Collaboration with various departments (example: customer service) to streamline contract administrative processes.
- Partner with Commercial Contracts team to ensure preparedness on future contract obligations.
- Ensure robust management reporting of contract measurements and analytics.
- Meticulously review contractual terms and obligations to ensure compliance to all obligations and regulations.
- Verification of all aspects of customer rebate calculations, including accuracy of site rosters, sales volumes, and rebate terms.
- Ensure effective organization of stored customer agreements, and accessibility to agreements by relevant stakeholders.
- Review and approve customer payments after submission to Accounts Payable.
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
Candidate Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Business Experience
- 10+ years of Commercial Contract Administration experience, 5+ years of management responsibility
- Experience with ModelN or other Contracting/Revenue management system
- Knowledge of healthcare industry and US healthcare industry regulations
- Skilled with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP ERP system
- Experience in People Management; building, coaching, and supporting professional development for team members. Creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Demonstrated strong business analytic ability to analyze data as well as develop and execute process changes to meet changing business requirements.
- Proven track record of being able to plan, prioritize, & complete competing projects on time inclusive of problem solving throughout the projects.
- Routine travel as necessary or required based on business need (including sales meetings, leadership meetings, and mandatory in-person travel), which may include overnight and/or weekend travel and regularly flying on airplanes.
