Automotive Parts Front Counter Salesperson

Job Description

Fenix Parts, INC. is one of the nation’s leading recyclers and resellers of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) automotive products. The Fenix companies have been in business more than 25 years and currently operate from 32 locations through the U.S. Our primary business is auto recycling, which is the recovery and resale of OEM parts, components and systems reclaimed from damaged, totaled, or low value vehicles.

Our organization is facing rapid growth & we are looking for exceptional individuals to join our teams as our front counter salesperson. This position offers a base hourly rate and uncapped earning potential via pay for performance and paid training. If you have an outgoing personality, enjoy building customer relationships, and have sales acumen, this may be the position for you

Job Snapshot

  • You will be staffing our front counter position.
  • Liaise between our customers and sales associates.
  • Responsible for all customer interactions in each location
  • Quote, order, track, and coordinate pick-ups for our walk-in customers.
  • Handle automated orders that come through our system through different platforms.
  • Point of contact for customers picking up and returning parts
  • Take payments using a variety of payment methods.
  • Maintain a balanced accounting sheet throughout the day.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional intrapersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment with multiple responsibilities.
  • Minimum 2 years previous sales or customer service experience
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Strong mathematical competencies

Not required but strongly preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Associate degree or higher education
  • Automotive background/experience
  • Strong typing skills
  • Prior CRM experience
